BIRTHDAY OXEGEN

I went to Dublin last weekend for Oxegen Festival and my birthday and froze my ass off. Geez the Irish are a friendly lot though I couldn’t understand a word they were saying.

Over the weekend I was mistaken for a DJ, a Japanese motocross rider and former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha (who is of Japanese origin). I assured all my fans that we were indeed reforming and to watch out for the new album which was going to rock!

I’ll have some pictures up soon once I get my computer back.

Froze? Isn't it summer over there? I need to look at a map to see just how far north the place is.

Yeah it was really cold. Pissed down with rain and was very windy. Irish summers seem to be much like like english summers except shorter and colder. Can't wait to go back. ha ha.

I dressed for sun: t-shirt and jacket. Oh god, what a mistake.

Late reply due to late night scotch drinking. Agreed. Summer my ass. Was miserable Saturday but Sunday was nice and warm. Loved the Eels. Great show. My highlight of the weekend.

I heard the Eels were awesome on the weekend. Pretty good to listening to Hooner telling me the highlight of his weekend was watching the Eels. Should have recorded it.

Deshy. I loved that puzzled "who are these weirdos?" look on your face when you watched them.
